Celebrate the Opening Day of the sixth season of the Hyde Park Farmers Market! Stop by every Sunday from June 6th through October 31st from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The Market will host 30 local growers for the 2010 season. Be sure to welcome our new vendors: Dojo Gelato (gelato & sorbetto), Cattail Acres (jams and baked goods), FAB Ferments (sauerkraut & kimchi) and Larel Grant (microgreens).

Renee Koerner has been in the food and wine business her entire career, from working at Maisonette and Pigall's to selling wine in the fine wine markets around the mid-west. Her newest project, Big Fish Farms LLC, is dedicated to sustainably raising paddlefish for meat and caviar production.

All About Compost A representative from the Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District will be on hand to discuss the dos and don’ts of composting. Dan Korman of Park + Vine will show you the tools you need.

Composting is a great way to recycle all types of organic waste and provides a free source of compost - a nutrient-rich soil amendment great for gardening. Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District will be on hand to give advice and answer questions on how to start and maintain various compost systems, including systems
suitable for apartments. We also welcome Dan Korman of Park + Vine who will show you some of his composting products.
